Remington model 700 SPS .270 I'm looking to sell my Remington model 700 SPS 270 with remington scope. I bought the gun brand new about 2 years ago and have only put 4 rounds through it. I don't have time to use the gun and i can't afford a deer lease so i figured i might as well sell it to someone that can actually use it.
It will come with the scope, hard plastic case, bolt lock, and a box of remington rounds (12 left in box).
I'm asking $600 for everything, i would prefer local pick up or if it needs to be shipped buyer will pay for shipping (not sure what all is involved with shipping a gun)

Basically i am selling it because i want to get my wife a handgun for her birthday coming up, something small (9mm) she is a small girl and needs something that will fit her. If this gun doesn't sell by next week i'll be taking it to the pawn shop and trading it in on a gun for her, and if i get a good enough deal a handgun for me too!! lol.
So if anyone has a smaller 9mm in good condition that would like to trade plus some cash let me know. I'm looking for something like a 9mm, .40, or .45 for myself. If your looking to trade let me know what you have and maybe we can work something out.

That's a nice rifle, is it a 26'' varmint model? Looks like mine. I picked up one in Stainless, it was exclusive to Cabela's in the slightly more powerful .308 winchester caliber.. What scope is that? If you do keep it, you should take the factory stock off and buy a H&S precision stock for it. Your groups will tighten up considerably...

Thank you, on remington's website its just the model 700 SPS, the varmint model has vents on it. There are no markings or anything on the scope to tell the brand, it was a package deal from academy when i bought the gun, it normally doesn't come with a scope, its damn accurate though, when i was sighting it in i hit a thumb tack at 100 yards.
