2003 Mazdaspeed Protege
2003 Mazdaspeed Protege #990
Color: Black Mica
Engine: FSDE 2.0 Turbocharged 4-Cylinder
Transmission: 5-Speed Manual
Miles: 107,xxx and Climbing
VIN: JM1BJ227630643565
This MSP is a fun, little car. It EASILY gets 30MPG every tank and is very quick with all the modifications done. It tracks straight, brakes well, and corners hard. The best thing about this car is that you pay regular Protege insurance costs without driving a regular Protege. This car has never let me down and is VERY reliable. I make hour long trips to and from Houston four times weekly and it doesn't hesitate one bit.
Engine Modifications:
Suspension Modifications:
Interior Modifications:
Exterior Modifications:
Other New Parts:
Issues That will be Addressed Before Sale:
Extra Included Parts:
Parts Available for Extra Cost:
WILL GET MORE PICTURES OF THE CAR AFTER IT'S DETAILED
I'm looking for $10,000

Dang I was kind of hoping this was my old car for a second lol. I had 03 msp #566, also black mica. Fun car. That thing would move out with the Gt30 on it. Good luck with your sell. Are you mazdas247.com? If so whats your screen name?

That welded LSD is definately a must have on those cars as well. I know i broke 3 stock ones before I finally put a welded one in it. That exedy is a great choice in clutch as well, same one i finally went with when my stock msp clutch took a crap at 79k miles. Great little cars!!

Couple of questions, does it have aftermarket motor mounts and has anything else in the trans be refreshed?

It does not have aftermarket mounts as the factory ones are still in good shape.
To my knowledge, no. The transmission shifts great, doesn't grind any synchros, and has no hesitations. I know that they're a weak point on these cars, but this one's transmission is in great shape!

A few more pictures that people have been asking for. You'll notice the BBK is not included, the tail lights are now red, and the front tint has been removed.
It's not clean yet, though!
Sorry!
