SOLD!

First and foremost, check engine light is on. Error code is P1401, Differential Pressure Feedback Electronic Sensor circuit High Voltage. I am working to get it fixed as we speak. I have taken by the Ford Dealer here, with the code in hand, and this what I was told:

"We will need to run a check to get 'our' error code, and that is 69.99."
"Well, I have the code right here," Me.
"We need 'our' code, and to run the check is 69.99."

What needs to be done to fix this:
Replace the DPFE, Take the EGR off, and the EGR tube to the back Manifold, Clean out the Tube, with Throttle Body Cleaner, Spray a little into bottom of the EGR...let dry. Clean the PCV, and the tube leading to the Throttle body. Clean the Throttle body, and MAS. Make sure the Vac hoses are OK, and the Gaskets.

Front what I hear, this is not a major issue. But finding the time to do anything this month has been hard. I can not make any promises that it will be fixed in by a specific time. This is due to my work schedule and who I work for.

Interior
Outside of normal wear, the interior is still in very good shape. There is no tears in the fabric, and nothing is broken. The drivers side windows switch has to be held in a "sweet spot" to roll up. But I am so use to wear it has to be, I have no issues getting the window to go up. Interior is just a little dirty right now, since I have not found the time to detail the truck like I normally do. Stereo is aftermarket and upgrading was done in stages after I bought the truck. Pioneer receiver with remote, iPod interface, Infinity 6x8 (F), Alpine 5x7 (R), Alpine amp, RockfordFosgate 10" P3 sub. First sub I got was a Infinity that fit under the seat, but that sounded like crap. So I went with a box on the seat.

Exterior
Standard rock chips up front and door dings you would find on a vehicle with 130,000 miles. Minor hail damage on hood. Hail dings are barely visible unless you look at the right angle. This damage was done when I was station at Scott AFB, IL. Minor rear bumper damage (Pic below) from trying to back up next in a storage facility. I hit one of those yellow park bollard at about 5mph. And then clipped for a idiot in a Durango about 3 weeks later. I went by 3 body shops, and all estimates were between 400 and 500 to replace. I just never did because is hard to see the damage. Also, paint on the running boards is peeled, and since moving back to Texas, the peeling hasn't gotten worse. The running boards where like that when I bought the truck, in St Louis, MO almost, 5 years a go. There no rust on the exterior or on the undercarriage that I have found. All in all, the body is still in good condition considering the truck is over 9 years old (build date October 2001), and has almost 130,000 miles on it. Close up pictures of Hood and Bumper are posted below.

Engine/Transmission
Truck runs very good. Does not feel like it has the miles it does. I have changed to oil every 3000 miles (with 2 or 3 execptions). after I hit 75,000 nothing but Castrol High Mileage has been used. Transmission and differential fluids have been changed 3 times since I bought it. On average, that worked out to once every 30,000 miles

Everything Else
Tires still have a good amount of tread on them. Fuel pump when out on my right before I deployed, and that was replace at 125,xxx miles. I am trying to find the time to get in in the shop for a good tune up. Brakes still have plenty of stopping power. I average 19-20 mpg combined, because I don't drive like a loon. I have driven this truck all over the country, so about 70% of the miles our highway. I have been as far north as Chicago, west the Bay Area of California, east Atlanta, and south as far to San Antonio in it.

The "History"
This is everything I know about the truck. Anything that happen before I bought it in January of 2006, I don't know about.

Purchased: January 2006 in St Louis, MO.

Accident: February 2006 in St Louis, MO. Ice on the freeway, did a 360 and hit a light pole with the right front quarter panel. Fixed in O'Fallon, IL in March/April of 2006. Insurance fight delayed the repairs. I still have the repair bill from that, I will dig it out for a serious buyer.

Repair: June 2006. PCV Value replaced

November 2007: Wheels and Tires put on at Discount Tire in Abilene, TX. Truck had around 85,000 miles at that point

Repair: February 2008. Replaced driver side brake caliper. Caliper locked down, and would not disengage. Chewed up the rotor pretty good. Rotor was machined smooth again.

Repair: June 2008. Replaced brake rotors and brake pads.

Accident: September 2008. This was when the rear bumper was backed into a park bollard and clipped by a Durango in the same weekend. I was backing out of a parking spot, and had a bigger SUV on my right and left. By the time I could see the driving lane, the guy in the Durango was still driving and clipped me. I can provide more detail to this, and photos from the night it happened.

Repair: December 2009. Fuel pumped replace at Dyess AFB Auto Hobby shop.

Repair: February 2011. CEL problem fixed, new spark plugs, new wires, and belt. Also, fuel system clean up done. Basically, a tune up will be done.

Man, I want one of those for the wife! I plan on getting it close to February. I know what the OBD2 code is.... the sensor that goes on the differential carrier is bad, I think it sits on top of the housing. Its used as a speed/abs sensor, so it might trigger the ABS light also.
