Good to know, thanks man. It is a last resort, think i got my last used starter from a member here for 35$ if i remember right, still kickin.

Heh, I remember that. You bought it RIGHT before I had a chance to, which is why I was forced to buy an ebay one.

This is what I would recommend buying, it's who I bought mine from. Fast shipping, and good unit. He also has one that's $5 more, but I don't know the difference.

I bought the one off ebay that includes a second longer bolt. My starter broke off the tab with the shorter bolt last week.

It's a little more of a pain in the *** to get this one in there, but it is doable. And that was with the trans cooler lines in the way.

I have one off a 5.3 or 6.0 truck motor can't remember which one. It worked fine on my car. The problem with it is the big stud broke because I turned into the Hulk while tightening it. If you want to get it fixed feel free to come pick it up for free if you want.

Let me see what my buddy says that rebuilds them, he might be able to use yours and a couple others i can get from other friends to make a complete operational piece.
