help me price my 02 6 speed Z28
after discussing the price in the following thread i have decided to offer it for sale @ $8000 obo you can call or text me @(281)923-6320 you wont be dissapointed. im located in seabrook off nasa rd1 and kirby.
i have a 2002 white exterior, black leather interior t-top 6 speed z28 with 105k miles on it that i am thinking of selling since its just taking up space in my garage. the car is clean and only has the usual small chips on the front of the hood, the interior is black leather and is super clean with only one small tear on the driver seat bottom, a/c blows real cold. z06 style z-28 emblems and billet grill, pablo blue tint, clear bumper corner lights. car is garage keeped and drives very tight. power windows, doors, cruise control, leather seats t-top covers, monsoon, original spare and jack. 2 sets of keys with the lock/unlock/trunk open control.
no cel's, no codes, no problems getting inspected!
wheels & tires:
car sits on 17x9.5 front and 17x10.5 rear black with brushed aluminum lip ttm's. 275 555 nt front and 315 nt drag radials rear (less than 500 miles on rears).
suspension:
front & rear koni yellows 4/4 on car adjustable, brand new, just installed less than 50 miles.
bmr springs, brand new, just installed, less than 50 miles.
umi front swaybar (new)
umi rear swaybar
bmr adj panhard bar (not installed)
bmr adj lca (not installed)
tower brace (new)
powertrain:
lid
ported throttlebody
long tube headers, bolt up cut out
hi flow cats
rear 02's deleted and tuned out
ls6 intake
msd red wires.
ls6 heads
patriot dual springs
ls7 lifters
s-cam 238/242@.050, .608/.612 on a 115 lsa
forged pistons
double roller timing chain
melling hi perf oil pump (new)
asp underdrive pulley
new alternator (14amp truck type)
z06 clutch
gm clutch master cylinder w/drill mod (new)
short throw shifter
flowmaster
engine bay oil pressure gauge
never sprayed
the bad:
the only problem is that the clutch pedal is starting to stick on wot shifts to 3rd gear. i had this problem when i bought it then after a few complete clutch bleedings i got rid of it, now its back so, i installed a new gm clutch master cylinder with the drill mod and it did not make much of a difference. the clutch holds great but at wot when you get to 3rd the pedal sticks, you can pull it up with your foot and everything is fine. i think its the pressure plate or slave starting to weaken, if i were going to keep it i would install a new clutch and slave and be done with it.

$8000-$8500 with the clutch issue is probably what you should try to get for it if you want to move it. List it for about $9000 and go from there. If your in no hurry to sell it list it for $11000 and sit on it for a while.
