got pix of the turbo? what compressor cover does it have? A/R size? what year is this turbo? compressor blade count? how many runs/miles does it have on it as well.

 

so what turbo is this i had seen another thread saying this was not a s488?

 

 

Yes, pics of turbo.

 

That turbo is not. That unit pictured above is an old S4T unit, which is similar to the older TV81. The unit we build , is built off the new Borg Warner S400 platform which has the newer tech wheels. Per Dr. Turbo. Unless this is a different turbo than the one in the build thread. Maybe so.

 

I'd like to clear up the confusion here. The turbo I am selling is a true s488 I am selling/posting it for a friend. I still have the turbo from my build thread. I will be posting it for sale shortly. I just don't know what to price that turbo at because I don't know much about it. I got stiffed on it and was promised that it was a s488 with a "race housing". First turbo purchase and I will never purchased used again.

 

Got any pics of it? Sucks to hear you got the hose on the other one.

 

I will get some from my buddy to post up. I haven't time to get many other pics yet. Yea I got screwed on the other one, sucks but lesson learned. I bought that turbo around thanksgiving or I would have filed a claim with paypal but it is just too late for that.
