Built 4L80E Built 4L80E for sale. Rebuilt from scratch, numerous soft part and hydraulic modifications. BRIEF rundown

This guys did my trans and it works fine with the exception that I didn't have the cash for a new valve body that does not hold 2nd gear WOT shifts. He even told me he wasn't sure how well it would work because it was not a factory part. He knows his stuff.

This guy can build a mean transmission !! Anyone needing a transmission built this is the guy that can build it!! He had his hands on the transmission in my car and it built to hold 1500 hp.

Any GM RWD trans but I don't touch 200-4Rs. Pricing varies wildly as they are all different, some are cheap while others are twice as much due to certain parts used in the build. I'm in the Houston area.

It's too much of a bitch to build and I have little experience with them. Few builders touch them, probably only a handful of people out there who can actually build one worth a damn.

It's hard to give a concrete number because what it can hold in one setup could be very different from another. For example, a certain transmission could shine in a turbo car whereas it may not be up to par in a nitrous car, or a car that spins to the moon. Horsepower ratings are more of a general guideline to give people something to focus on and get an idea, as there's so much more that goes into transmission survival than just power numbers.
Tentatively, I'd say around 750-800hp to be on the safe side, but very similar units have gone higher without ever having any problems. It's just out of my comfort zone, and as a builder you have a tendency to want to cover your *** and make sure the trans is slightly overkill whenever possible.
I wouldn't normally have a problem doing a trans trade for partial credit but I wouldn't be able to give you the price you would probably like whenever I have cores available. A working transmission is inherently a bit more valuable than a core, but it's a moot point for someone like me who rebuilds them from scratch anyways, know what I mean?

And no, probably even worse off in that regard than I was last year for TX2k13 lol. Probably just gonna hitch a ride with a friend who has a badass car as I don't want to win the unofficial "worst car of the turn out" award

Shiiiiit well you do realize that if you do end up with one by that time, I am entitled to a ride just because, right? 
I just declared a mechanical engineering degree as my major, so hopefully once it's all said and done I'll be able to go shopping for a Z, or maybe a Viper if I'm feeling frisky.
