Thanks for the compliment!

My next door neighbor offered me $15k, but he might not be able to get the money for like 2 months, and I'm not real positive I can wait that long. Other priorities in life unfortunatly.

Maybe somebody will pay $14k? Not sure....quite a lot of work as been done to the car tho!

Gets my wife all excited!! lol.

I think the terrible cam choice is scaring off buyers.

You must be a tool.....that cam is very nice and spec'd by one of the best in the business...It was built with his car in mind and has since gone in other cars. For a full weighted car to run 7.80's with catted exhaust and 2.73 rear gears on a Yokohoma street tire....Yes very good setup thats dead nuts reliable. the car hasnt seen the track since the 3.42s rear was swapped in it.

A4 cars were running faster in 2001 with the TR224 cam...

I'm done posting in this thread, I was just letting him know why people were shying away.

A big cam on a low LSA for an A4 car = scarring people away

Maybe you could explain to us all what the tight LSA does for A4 cars? Then you can bow out that you dont know Sh*t....

Cars with 224 cams might be running faster, but did they have a catted poor junction y-pipe exhaust, too small of a converter, and 2.73 gears on a 100% street tire???????

Eric, we need to take the car out again and run it again with the near gears, to see what it picked up...I'll even try to find a real tire to run it on for the night. I'd bet its a high 11 second 1/4 miler that has stock like driving manners and still gets 25mpg.
