Looking for a car trailer...where to go?
Looking for a car trailer...where to go? Im looking for a flat deck car trailer for a project car. I really dont care if its a wood or metal deck as it will be stored in a garage. I would like it to atleast have a winch mounting point to be able to pull the car up on the trailer. What kind of prices should I be seeing for this sort of thing?

How much you looking to spend ? I have an 18' dove tail steel floor with
chrome wheels good tires and has an 8000# winch and battery already
mounted on the front. Comes with slide out ramps that pull out the back.

Well pricing them out, they seem to be around 1800$ for a wood floor, no winch...
Does that seem to be reasonable? Illl even take an open floor if thats available.
Any reccomendations?

what do you plan on using it for? you more than likely would want a metal deck if you plan on keeping it for a while. i have done the whole wood deck thing and will never do that again, just invest the little extra $$$ and get one that will last forever.
look on craigslist i see alot of good trailers on there simi-cheap. and pick up a warn 3700 winch from northern tool, it will pull whatever you want it to on that trailer. the winch cost $379.00 (i think)
