You have the T/A running and devoid of weak links? I would like to see that thing run right down the mile. Surely you can do 200+mph. I wanted to go run my car down there, but dont know if I am going to have time to get it broken in and tuned by then.

I used Binswanger to replace a broken window in my car and they did a great job. They offered to come to my office, but since I didn't trust it sitting in the garage without a window (or have to answer questions about WHY my car's window was broken), I took it to them. Got it back in about a day.

As an Auto glass tech ill save you the coin on buying an "OE" windshield from the dealer . Buy a LOF (libbey ownes ford ) brand , that is the manufacturer of the windshields for chevrolet at that time , so your getting the same glass half the price. Also check your molding (black gasket around the perimiter of glass ) and see if its a gloss type or a flat black , ask the company for a "dealer molding" or go pick one up your self to be on the safe side .. t-top , hard top, and convertable are moulding options aswell. As far as what company to use , your top Houston glass shops are Safelite , Apple Glass ,Binswanger no longer does auto glass last i heard , Elite Glass , and Texan glass . Just make sure the installer primers body of car from any longknife scratches(rust can develop if the scrathes aren't primered) , and that they pull the windshield cowling for install of glass. Good luck, hope i was of some help .

Hey Tiago,
How you doing. You may not remember but you first tuned your TT on my Mustang Dyno at Conley's. The previous guy recommended Glassman Chad. Go on Hotrodgossip.net and ask for Glassman Chad. He replaced a windshield on my F-250 came to my place; Charged $150. and did a good job. Good luck at the Texas Mile
