Default Know any good photo locations around Houston???

I'm looking for a nice spot to get some good shots of my car, anywhere in the Houston area. Can anyone help?

I would really like to get something with the downtown skyline or something like this for a backdrop, but I'm open to all suggestions. Thanks!

That was the picture that made me fall in love with a silver WS6 dropped on FM10s setup.

I can't name specific places, but driving around, you should be able find some good places. Learn to work with it and your pictures should come out good.

Thanks guys. I'll check out your suggestion C, it looks pretty nice.

I've done the drive around thing and have only produced less than stellar results. So, I was just hoping to save some time and gas, and see what suggestions the board might have.

Thanks again!

Try some top floor parking garages overlooking Houston's skyline. A friend of mine had a really good shoot there.

I tried getting to the top of quite a few of them, but you need a pass-card to get in.

we went out to dewberry farms last weekend. on the back roads around there are all sorts of awesome abandoned farm houses and barns and old mill looking buildings anything like that should be easy to find.
another good back drop is unfinished contruction. just get in the car and drive around, take your detailing stuff w/ you and grab the tripod.

I just look around when I'm driving different places around town. There are a lot of different spots just pick one out and make good use of it.

These are some pics I have taken.

Yeah they are all spots I saw randomly just driving around. The building with the flag was downtown but I honestly cannot remember what street it was on.
