Default Feedback on Lsx motor builders in Houston

Looking to sell my Forged 347 out of the T/A and build a radical hp motor that better fits the D1sc setup I have for it.

Any suggestions on shops around the Houston/Pearland area?

You looking for a shop to build the car or an engine builder? Erik at HKE and LME are both VERY well know in the LSX community. You cant go wrong with either.

The car is already built and put down a little over 600 to the wheels, I'm just looking to build a better motor to handle the boost. I'm leaning towards HKE with a 408 setup

I've dealt with both shops and spent thousands of dollars on my numerous builds.
I just wish I would had chosen Erik in the first place.
Good luck with whoever you so choose though.

All I have to say is that LME has built all of my LSX race and street motors. The records and numbers that we put down speak for me. Just look at the top three in Texas' quickest list. Not to mention my personal car that made 580 rwhp 4 years ago. and this wasnt with big headers and huge cam and all the other stuff associated with the big numbers now days. We have made over 2000 horse power with our LME power plant.

I have to agree with GoldRust. LME is the place to get your engine built.
The times on the cars prove it....

HKE is the only option IMO.

Not only great prices, quality work, but you get the best advice and learn alot from speaking with ERIK. I never was able to understand what I wanted to accomplish and Erik took me in the right direction after spending tons on money on bullshit parts.

I have a HKE 408 with diamond pistons, an eagle crank, and ARP fasteners.

I dont think I have read about an HKE engine failure... and if you did you would find that ERIK takes care of the client!
