My track mishap, Carnage Pics!!
Well I guess track prep was pretty good Sunday, truck hooked pretty good and the output shaft decided it wan't to take a ****. Made it to about the 330 mark and the fourwheeler had to tow me the rest, lol. It took everything with it, case, planetaries, pump, input shaft and housing. Trans was a total loss and nothing will be reusable. I know it wasn't good when it locked up trying to get it on the trailer, or that I had to use a sledge hammer to get it apart. I'll be going back with a billet one for sure this time. But everything else looked brand new. THANKS again for all that helped out!!!!!

a built 4L60 that I had lying around, Im going to take it easy on it untill parts come in and I get one built to handle it. I put all the torque managment back in it and took alot of timing out to try to keep this one alive for a couple of weeks. But I have a heavy right foot....

A stock 80 would burn up in a couple of weeks, thanks tho. I build trannies for a living, just trying to see how far this trans will go, I obviously found out the limits of the 70 hardened output shaft.
