For a good job you will be looking at 1800-2000. Maaco is ok if you will be happy with a 20 footer...all in what you like.

if you do your own prepping maaco is fine... but if youre relying on them to take off whats left of the original paint and do a good prepping job youll be disappointed...

if youre set on them doing prep and paint, i would take off all of the badges, side molding, etc... because if you get someone who wants to be lazy that day, they wont do it, and then the clear coat will start to peel, especially if you want to take it off in the future...

edit: if i wanted a full paint job, i probably wouldnt take any shop seriously that quoted me under 5 grand unless i was getting some kind of discount... i believe whole-heartedly in the "you get what you pay for" sentiment

Check out Noah's in south Arlington.

Maaco is crap. There was a member on this board that got her car sprayed by Maaco and it went to **** in a month. My bro-n-law did his own prep work on a Mustang and had Maaco spray it and it went bad in 6 months. They use cheap paint. What can you expect?
