I wasn't planning on doing another 60-130 event until TX2K9, buttttttt, I received many requests as the air is cooler at this time of year and people want to run another event. So, the details are as follows:
When: Saturday December 13, 2009
Where: Lonestar Motorsports Park (Sealy, TX)
Time: Gates open at 10:30 am and track is hot from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm (we will run until 3:00 pm if we have more than 15 cars signed up to run)
Cost: spectators are $15 and racers are $50 (same as always)
Caravan Info: meet at the Conoco gas station at I-10 and Eldridge (off Eldridge just north of I-10) at 9:30 am. We will leave promptly at 10:00 am to Lonestar.
Thanks and I hope to see all of you there!!!! Rumor has it that LMR plans to bring their 7.50 1/4 mile mustang to this event...

Peter,
What is the cost for the 60-130? There is nothing else really happening, right? When does it start?
Are you going to set a meeting place to head out together as before, or is it just meet at the track for those going?

The whole purpose is to measure accelleration via gps. Basically you have a rolling start at the track, floor it before 60 and let off after 130. The Drift box will record the time it takes you to accellerate from 60-130. In Matts case we're hoping for 4's with traction. It's a lot of fun and there's always a bunch of cool cars/people out there.

Hey guys/gals, I just got word from John (owner of the track) that he WILL have the lights on in ONE lane during the 60-130 event. In other words if you would like to line up and run a 1/4 mile pass, you will be able to! ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
See you all on Sat.
