when i go to my winterboard app and click what i want it gets a check mark and then i exit and it does the little line circle thing and then nothing happens. i was trying to put the nos bottle for my battery but it never seems to work, it works on some but not on others. any ideas?

look its easy guys, just jailbreak your phone it will unlock an entire new world for your phone if u want more info go to http://www.modmyi.com its the best thing i ever did to my phone....sideways texting different colors....EVERYTHING can be changed!!!
On a side note, anyone with a jailbroken iPhone that has "Cycorder" know how to get the video off of the phone onto the computer? Do I have to sync it?

1. go to my computer
2. click tools
3. click folder options
4. click the view tab
5. uncheck Hide extentions for know file types
6. press ok
7. go back to the file whever u saved it and right click and go to properties
8. next to the name u should see .m4a
9. change this to .m4r
10. double click the file and it should be in your ringtones file on your itunes!!!

nice thread. I consider myself pretty tech savvy .. but haven't paid any attention to this kind of stuff, guess I am missing a lot.
Looks like I will be playing around with my iPhone tonight .. any issues to worry about if I have an original iPhone, and not a 3g ?

For those with a jailbroken iPhone, check out the program "Spoof". You can call any number just like a regular phone, but here's the cool part. You can disguise your number to any 10 digit number and if they try to redial it, it dials that number. It's a lot of fun.

Just so you guys know, you can get pretty much any song and set it to a ringtone for FREE from www.myxer.com It's really easy. Sign up and use pretty much any part of any song.
