Hey 70, the only thing I can think is that the way you earned the money may be in question. Otherwise you should have been elbows deep in this guys *** on day one.

I think a good way to find this guy would be to have somebody contact him via myspace with a fake profile of some fine piece of ***. Then "she" should provoke him with some sexual comments and promise some sexual favors to get this guy to meet up with "her". Then have him meet in a public place and just sit in the car while he waits and realizes he got stood up. Then follow the guy, see where he goes, find out where his friends live, find out where he lives. What he drives. Take pictures. Then you will have more of a chance of getting the money back because he will probly be moving pretty soon if he lives in an apartment. You need some info on this guy.

Hopefully the police/FBI can get something going with this guy soon. Would just hate for him to slip away because they can't find him. I would take the myspace picture that's already been given and save it to your computer with his name incase he deletes his account. Hope you get your money back.

Have you told your parents? If not, its your own fault that you wont be seeing that money again.

in all honesty guys, i really dont think they could handle that. They are caring for my grandfather with cancer(24/7), my grandma with alzhiemers, and working to support me and my sister. We just got over a rough time in our relationship because i got a couple tickets. That was pretty bad. This is really the last thing they need to deal with. Right now i think i have things under control, and im doing the best i can.

yea seriously, even if they catch the guy and take him to court,ur underage.its better for you to tell your parents now than to have a cop come to the house to inform your whole family.....and possibly get you *** kicked by ur dad lol.

70, I hope all ends up well. There's a really good documentary that was done by dateline's Chris Hansen "To Catch an Identity Thief". I suggest you watch it, it's really good and full of information about these types of scams.

Not to be "Debbie Downer" but unfortunately these things can be very complicated and you may have a hard time getting anywhere with it. Wish I could offer better advice.

Now listed in the Dallas Craiglist:

http://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/pts/959761671.html

I tried flagging it but it seems to relist itself as soon as it is flagged. Maybe the scammers are getting even smarter.

70, I'm sorry this has happened to you! Its very hard to take someone making you a victom especially when its not in your nature to be a victum... I more then ANYONE hate thieves to the extent that I would rather see them ALL burn in hell! strong words but I have my reasons... I normally dont lean towards violence but in this case I would not be able to stop my self! The fact that someone can sit on his/her *** and not do **** while someone else is out busting there *** to make hard earned money and just take it with out caring about the consequences that may fall on the victom makes me want to puke!!! I say an NYC chapter just take this guy and show his what its REALLY like to play on the other side of the tracks!!! F-ing piece of ****!!!!
