I've never had the chance to shoot a .50

How is the recoil on that in a gas system gun compare to something like a .358 Wby Mag in a bolt action gun? That's the roughest I've ever shot.

I was very suprised at the recoil it only felt like a 12Ga. shotgun loved it I put about ten rounds threw it cant wait to do it again.

Yeah I was trying to hit a pine tree that was about three inches around at 200 yards away we were trying to cut the tree down.

u should see when u have the .50 cal mounted on top of the humvee!! the whole ****** humvee shakes...

I heard a guy shot one off of his tailgate and it blew his tail light out!

I have fired them from on top of Humvees in the military...definitely peace through superior firepower with that weaponn.

Yeah that vid is on youtube. Insane muzzle pressures.

Gas operated rifles superior to bolt action rifles as far as managing recoil. The .50 BMG i shot was gas operated and has way less recoil then a .338 mag

That huge *** muzzle brake on the end helps out a good bit too. I shot a 7mm mag with a small one on the end and it kicked like a .22.

what gun was it? I almost picked up a barret modle 99 in October. it was only $3300 and included 300 rounds of ammo. I am kicking myself for passing that up.

M2 is definitely a bad-*** weapon, and is the oldest sniper weapon in the US Arsenal due to the fact that its fully auto or Single shot... even better with a TVS-5 on top.... "mmmmm, thats nice"-old man from family guy

That looks fun as hell. The only .50 cal ive shot is in COD4! +1 For the lefty's, its always fun shooting a right handed gun when the hot *** shell flies onto your body.

Couldnt watch the vid at work but Ive fired the Browning .50 deck mounted machine gun. It was definately fun.
