Its perfect for the house and the ammo is dirt cheap too. You won't regret it if you get one.

i have 2 shotguns in my house that I keep loaded up with 00 buckshot. They are both remington 870 express magnums. Can't beat the gun for the money, I think you can get them at academy for under 300. I have never had one jam or give me any problems. If they can get past them, then I have a .380 within arms reach.

I have a Mossberg 500 as well. I've owned just about every major shotgun made and the Mossberg is the best I have ever found as far as the setup for the controls, ease of operation, reliability, comfort, etc. I love mine.

I have a mossberg 500, and i cannot complain about that gun at all. It might not be as smooth as a remington, but it never fails, and its a nice looking gun.

Mossberg 500 here. I am willing to sell it. If you are going to be out this way (Austin) and are interested, send me a PM.

It's a great gun, it's just I have several others and have some bills to pay.

Remington 870 here, well sort of. I bought it back when I worked at my old job. It came with 1 shot extension, modified choke, Ghost Ring night sights sights and Speedfeed stock. It's a short barreled shotguns (14"), and is made from the factory by Remington for certain "Agencies". I forgot to add that I use a 1 oz. slug just in case there are 5 to 10 people standing behind the dumbass taking the initial hit, you never know!
