Thumbs up

We just got back and it was lots of fun!

The conditions weren't too bad, kinda windy all day, cold in the morning, hot towards the afternoon.

This is a great event, here's a few shots. Sorry just takes so long to upload and edit, if not I would of posted more.

Enjoy thanks for looking!

I only saw 2 fbodys that I can remember, the guy running the 95 Z28 had a 181mph run. I talked to him for a little while, really cool laid back dude. He said he was running 8lbs of boost from a supercharger. I didnt get alot of details on his setup. We mostly spoke bout advice on getting signed up for October hopefully.

The red supra pulled a 239 I think, and a bike ran a HOT 254, if I'm correct.

The blue one is a bugatti and the other is a ros(something).

SW went 246 on Friday then lost a rod on the second pass. Think Tommy Bahn went 243 today.

The ZR1 were running 181-184mph

The black Subaru in the pic above went 190 something.

Friends Z06 went 184mph with CAI, headers and a tune.

Lots of cars running 5-10mph faster today with the 15mph tail wind straight down the track.

Lots of Ford GT, Mustang GT500, KR 1000, and a mustang from PSI went over 200mph.

You wouldn't think we were in a recession with some of the cars that were out there.

Any idea what "Big Red" ran; I have read that it had gone 225mph in a road race a few years back in Las Vegas!

I rarely post, but that car above is a Rossion Q1. Very similar to Nobel M400 or M12.

Big Red had some issues yesterday, while I was there he didnt have a good run. I would of loved to see him post above 200.

I didnt see any Ferrari's that was kind of sad!

I wish I would of been there since Friday.

i was there too. i thought i was the only one with a trans am there but as i was parking i found two other ones and what do ya no. they were both white like mine. haha. there was a black corvette on spray that went faster than the ZR1 and i was suprised! alot of the GT500s suprised me too. and can you answer this for me? how do the ford GT40s get so ignorantly loud? after those took off, everything else sounded like a flowmaster.

Yea there were a lot of Ford GTs. The GT40s are the originals just to be clear. And yes they always seemed louder than most of the cars out there.

The white GT500 really impressed me, I think he ran a 204...

What did the two EvoMS Porches run? Tanner Foust was supposed to be piloting one of them.

Was it this one??

WOW!!! It went 204mph?? That car was over at my buddies shop getting work done to it. My buddy ended up getting 785rwhp out of it.

Here's some pictures of it getting the work done in California.
