I have a buddy that claims his 08 suzuki gsxr 750 does 220 mph plus. I am no expert on bikes but I am almost positive that it will not even touch 190 or 200. Would'nt it take hella skills to go 220 on a bike also? This is his first bike ever and claims after no time he was taking curves at 220 plus so I am thinking this guy is the biggest tool ever.

220?! um no dude. i dont think there is even a bike produced that has the gearing to even reach 220. i own a 2008 CBR1000RR and it will only do 185ish max.plus to even counteract the torque moment of a 220 mph wheel would be a physical feat in itself. ask him if he's even gone faster than 186mph. if he says he has, he better have a huge GPS pod on his dash because the limit agreement on all production bikes to disallow the guage cluster to read past 186. while the bike will mechanically pull past that it wont read therefore making your top speed runs useless. plus it's a 750 bro. thats a girl's bike. sounds like a primo squid to me bro. i bet he has a mohawk on his helmet too?

i have been riding 1000cc bikes for 8 years now and the fastest i could get my speedo to ever read was 193 on a highly modified honda 954rr. At this speed the speedo is off at least 10% so maybe 180ish range was real speed. Also this was on a 5 mile long straight stretch of highway. It would be impossible to turn a corner at these speeds. I now have a 2008 gsxr1000 and it will only read 186 as stated above. This guy is a complete tool. My guess is he would fall over taking a corner at the speed limit.

my bike maxed out at 162 my buddys gixxer 165 and my buddys r6 at 167 all of us were at 160lbs to 180lbs...n ill never do that again...but at that speed there was barly any way you can turn in a mile i think i turned maybe a foot to the left by putting weight on the pegs. BUT ive heard from alot of ppl that the gixxer 750 are tested with the 600s and on top of that there slower than all 600 they just have a lil more mid power...tool...

i've been racing 600cc (2006 R6) stock class bikes for three years now and i run into squids all the time. it never gets old. i saw this squid pull up to my buddy, who rides a $25k 1098S and asked if he was gonna get yoshis on it. i hate squids. didnt even realize he was looking at a $3500+ Terminogni titanium system. only squids buy a bike looking to get better gas mileage. a $1000 sentra or tercel will get better mileage than a 600cc bike. and you get to keep your brains in your head and nice bikes in deserving hands. thanks for the steadily rising insurance rates ********. wow that was quite a vent. anyway no your buddy cannot go 220 mph EVER. not even on a dyno, and maybe he should enroll in a motorcycle safety course. i dont wanna get an amazing deal on his bike when i'm at a salvage auction looking for a new track bike.

Its even more squid like to say non-sense like that. There is nothing wrong owning a 600 or a 750, or several other motorcycles despite class...

dont wad your panties bro. i own two sixes. i have a 2006 R6 full track bike and a 2004 ZX6r stunt bike. i love the sixes as well. i just use the girl comment to stir up ****. looks like it worked huh? anyway let's just all agree this guy is a squid and hope he doesnt get thrashed. although a crash always does good for a rider. i know that may sound dumb but a crash usually straightens out the "kinks" in a rider. or kills him. whichever comes first.

Yeah, it worked. I have had several people say rude stupid comments because I bought a 600 and not something bigger. I have been riding for 2 years, and luckily haven't gone down yet. Don't get to ride as much as I'd like to due to work. I still have plenty to learn.
I wouldn't wish a crash, wipeout on anyone. Hopefully, he'll have some hairy situations and learn from those mistakes first, and wise up.
Anyways, ride safe everyone! Always put that gear on.

whoa gentlemen lets not start assuming stuff here. yes i stunt but i stunt my crf50 more than 636. plus my 636 isnt even streetlegal and i only do lot sessions. NEVER on the road. hell i dont even bang on the roads anymore. i save that for trackdays which i try to fit at least two a month. why the hell would you think a Ducati is slow? if you are comparing it to a bike like a Hayabusa or ZX14 then sure they are slow........er in a straight line. but who cares. he races his bike quite avidly and if i'm not mistaken it's been taken off street duty for full time track use, so no mirrors and an even harder 1/4" foam seat now. too much money if you ask me. what bike do you consider faster than a 1098S? and i'm talking around the track not the strip.
