c5 z06 or c6 or..

first off i have 30k to spend on my next car... i wanna get something asap...

the car will be a fair weather car, weekend car only...

i cant make up my mind if i want a C5 Z06 or about an 05 C6...any thoughts? or advice? pros or cons?

or hell maybe even a ctsv?

idk

can someone give me a little bit of direction? hahah

btw, it will be modded pretty heavy...heads cam, etc...etc...

Personally, I'd go for a C6 Z51. The C5 Z06 is a great car, so you can't go wrong there either. It's all preference. I'd say go drive all the cars you're thinking about and see which you like better.

I'd stay away from the '05 C6 because of the weaker rear-end, IMO.

I would just a get a C5 Z06 unless you plan on getting the LS3.

Just looked at a 07 c6 z51 yesterday at a dealership in baytown that could be bought foe 30k .That is what i would get ,had 32k miles on it . There are good deals to be had if you look....

I'd choose the C5 z06 as you can easily pay it off and have just as good or better performance than the C6. Also the C5 is alot nicer looking IMO

G8GT or GTO and supercharge them.

You can get a ls2 GTO for like $16k and supercharge it and still have like $10k left over.

c6 looks 10 times better than a c5. looking at the 2 side by side on the road c6 hands down. The c6 just makes the c5 look cheap. But thats my opinion

And the C5 makes the C4 look cheap. The C4 makes the C3 look cheap. 5th gen fbodies make 4th gens look cheap, etc.

Newer is always better to some people. It's almost always been that way. That opinion carries a little more weight once both gens are really old.
