Y is it mexicans?? Go stand in front of a medicaid office and tell me what the ratio is in there. I don't want to have to pay for anyones kids other than my own but it's america. If other people had the skills and the will to work in construction they would be. Truth is, "ILLEGALS" don't have a high school diploma so they can't work a 9-5 like everyone. They have to rely on manual labor to make money. If I remember correctly, a while back, legit construction company's had to fire all of their illegal workers and hire people who where legal. So when you see a "MEXICAN" working on the side of the road don't assume he's here Illegally.
I am not talking about Mexican Americans... but Mexicans. Folks from Mexico. Stop making this a moral debate and put it back on the shoulders of the law.
I give a rats *** if Illegals have high school diplomas. They should be getting them in Mexico to begin with. We are a sovereign country. Time we start acting like it. It is not too late. They only make up 4.5% of the population according to the last census. I believe it might be more like 7-8% now, but still.... stop it before it becomes 20%. Heck, in Texas not a single county is majority white, black, etc.... .Mexican's have negatively influence our common culture. There is a difference in the US and Canada, same goes for Mexico. I assume he is here illegally if he does not speak English. I assume he is illegal if he has a Mexico ID.
btw, Medicaid/Medicare is intended for kids, elderly, and disabled. Lack of income should not automatically constitute free healthcare. Why work if the government will support you? The attitude is wrong. I dont care if 1 MEXICAN gets free government programs... that is 1 too many and one less AMERICAN receiving the program that I PAID FOR in taxes.
Before you say they pay taxes, it has been proven that the burden out weights what taxes we collect. FACT!

We took the land.. just like every other country in the world. I am not an illegal immigrant! Indians did not have a constitution. Indians did not own the land. They moved around. I would rather pay to support an American baby with my Tax money than a Mexican child. You are a fool to believe that Mexicans dont work for fair wages. That 1.00 per hour statement couldnt be further from the truth. 15.-- an hour to stand on the freeway with a sign that says "slow down"...... Don't believe everything you read. They have taken over the industry and we have now been convinced by them that "WE NEED ILLEGALS". This couldnt be further from the truth. Difference is we did not have illegals to grow our country but folks coming in legally via Ellis Island etc.
the language issue i'm all for. this is the U.S.A. and english is our language here learn it or leave.

I do "act like it". Sharing the issue to the silent majority is apart of that. I have actually watched as folks that support La Raza and the illegal immigrant groups actually say in order to gain support. It is funny as hell.

well you see there lies a whole different debate and is the complete root of the problem. we are electing these people and not holding them accountable for the decisions they make. we put them there and never check on them. we all need to start taking an active part in keeping these guys and gals fearful of not being elected the next time if they don't do what WE THE PEOPLE WANT!!

WizeAss....have you ever been to Mexico? I don't mean these vacations spots like cancun. I mean actually been inland? If you saw how some of these people live you would understand why they come over the border and find work. Yes I know it's not your fault that the government doesn't help but.......in desperate situations, fathers leave their family's behind to try and make a living up here and all they get is **** from people like you. I just don't think the US and Mexico are the same country and I believe that a country has the right to a secure border. To control people entering and leaving its border. How do you keep terrorists. I don't think in 1903 that poem which was put on a plaque at the statue of liberty was focused towards illegal mexicans? If you recall when folks arrived via ship we had issues to resolve and we also documented folks. Illegals are un-documented workers. That is the heart of the issue. So... why Mexico if you believe we should take the indigent from other countries? The poorest Americans have 2 TVs. The poorest Mexicans have food... Why not Somolia or Etheopia?

and i agree with your point but, they also have to do it legally. the United States cannot afford to import millions of uneducated, poverty sticken people. we have enough of those already. if you look at any other country their laws are alot more restictive than ours. hell in Grand Cayman you better know how to speak english or you wont get out of the airport(if you are going there to work).

I do see the difference between legal and illegal immigration and agree people should immigrate legally, but for people to say we should not let any immigrants in and that they are a major drag on the welfare system need to realize there are more white people on welfare than any other race group so I should be OK with paying for those white and black people to sit on there asses all day.

Well all I am going to say is that some are trying to make it a racial issue which it is not! In reality it is just an over all problem with our country and goverment and the way we the people live in our little lives and don't do anything about these problems until it starts affecting our own lives like now with rising unemployment etc...I agree we should watch ALL the borders and start reducing the amount of even legal immagrants that get lots of help from our government to start new businesses such as convienent stores etc... Why do you think that the majority are owned by foreiners, because we being born here don't qualify for those programs or loans etc... This is just one of the many benifits we offer to them and I believe that this should be offered to people that are already here born and raised. And I don't fault the illeagals for trying to help themselves, but we CAN'T help everyone. And it is proven by the fact that nobody helps other countries like the USA has and it is time to stop helping everyone and take care of ourselves until we are back on our feet. Do you give your extra money to charity when you owe thousands on credit cards? Of course not you keep paying on them until you pay them off before you start giving money to charity, but that is not what they US has done! They keep charging on the credit cards (Deficit) and helping everyone else which is BS! I am just rambling now, but I know most of you can relate to what I am saying it is simple financing and budgeting and our government officials are doing a very shitty job of spending our money for us or should I say giving it away!
