Problems after LT's and intake install

Default Problems after LT's and intake install

so i just recently installed some pacesetter LT's along with some msd wires and new ngk plugs also put a ls6 intake on. now the car seems to have a random misfire. cant figure it out i dont think its a plug wire because its not a consistant miss in the same cylender seems to be missing in random cylenders. could this be a intake leak? mabe a problem with the injectors? seems to get worse the more i drive it and when it warms up???

You probably cracked a plug! It can be hard to see but it's real easy to do on these cars

make sure you ddidnt rip a hole in the pcv hose, and check you o2's and fuse. that was the problem with mine

were is the pcv hoes located at is that in the front and goes into the tb?

I would check your o2's and the Eng Sens fuse first. Also the PCV runs from the back of the heads and along the passanger side of the intake. Google image search LS1 PCV. There is a good picture.

the pcv hose was already cut were it looks like there is a gound wire that runs from it to the block i might have made it a littel bigger but there's still a cut in it would that make my car miss if its leaking?

what kind of plugs. the tr5's misfire if you gap them to more than .049 I asked for tr55's and they gave me tr5's which have a smaller gap and every cylinder misfired and actually blew the #7 plug within 5 minutes of drivin when i had them gapped to .060 (factory). top wires click twice when they are in place, bottoms click once

also if you have any exhaust leaks the cold air getting to the o2 sensors could be a misfire situation

My PCV hose was pretty much rotted out and i didnt have a miss...hell it hardly seemed like it had a vaccum leak. What codes are you throwing? Seems to me like you might have front o2 problems. When one of my front o2's got messed up i had a miss and the car ran like ****.

i got the ngk TR6 plugs and when i did the headers i got some brand new corvett o2 but i guess mabe they could have already gone bad?

not saying that gap is your problem but you should always check what the gap is when they come out of the box. you never know if something large was set on them and altered the gap, or if someone messed with the gap etc

might want to pull them all out again and make sure everything is ok. i had to change all the plugs twice in one day in my ta the other day, second time i did it in an hour and a half on stock manifolds

you probly cracked a plug i had the same prob pulled the plug out on the cyl that was missfiring it looked brand new i could not see any cracks put a new plug in fixed the prob

I kept having some weird electrical problems as long as i had my MSD wires. Switched over to Taylors and it has been fine ever since.
