11th street cruise/car show caravan!

11th street cruise/car show caravan! Well a group of us will be riding towards beaumont this weekend for the 11th street cruise/car show. I hear its quite a good turnout and they shut down the street. We will be meeting at a local spot here in Houston Saturday and rolling out to meet with another group in baytown than having a spirited cruise/safe cruise to beaumont. Figured I would post this up here....hope some of you show some interest.

Hmm... well maybe we can get the local guys together and try to take over a parking lot. It'll be tough though it gets pretty crowded. What time y'all planning on gettin into Beaumont?

I will go out there along with a bunch of other guys (LSx vehicles, Cobras, etc), but it's only because there's nothing else to do lol. Our group comprises most of the fast street cars in this area. We will be at the church on 11th st just south of the train tracks . After the cruise, there's always a huge group that meets at Kohls on Dowlen Road. You can really meet a few people and look at cars easier there.

They actually DON'T shut down the street. The past couple of years has seen it really go to ****. 95% of the cars out for the cruise are 16 year old kids driving their dads dodge truck up and down all night causing problems. Nobody with nice cars wants to take their cars out of the parking lot due to people acting a fool and the traffic being so bad that nobody can get around.

meet spot will be AMC 30 on saturday. Time is unknown at this point. Still working out the details with others. We are leaning towards early lunch time. or maybe 1-3. I will keep you guys updated.
