First car: 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T. 383, automatic, B7 blue, with B5 blue interior. 3.91 sure grip rear end. Bought it in 1985 for $275.00. I can't believe I sold it. Miss that one. Bad!!!

88 silverado single cab 350. fast as **** but one wheel wonder. i did 145 or so every day on the way home from school.
did they make regency silverados back then? it had a regency sticker or something but im not sure if that means it was a package or the dealership was regency. my grandparents bought it off the showroom floor back in the day. i totaled it on 02. it stalled out on me and i got t boned and rolled it.

1985 Buick Regal Limited with a V6 non-turbo.
I always felt out of place and got ragged on since all my buddies drove late 60s -early 70s muscle cars. so i saved all my pennies from my summer job and had a local machine shop build up a 406sbc from core i bought out of the thrifty nickle. I dropped that in along with a th350/3500stall 4:10 gears and some drag wheels. all the sudden my granny car nicknamed "The Beer Wagon" became faster then all my buddies hotrods, it was priceless. (BTW, all these years later Im still the fastest one of all my friends
)
I miss that car, I did all the work converting it entirely myself, there was no looking back I yank the V6 and just made it work figuring things out as I went. not bad for a poor 17 year old. I learned a lot from it.

my first car was an 84 cutlass supreme with the 3.8, bought it for $50 and all I had to do was get a tranny from the junk yard for $50 more and it ran perfect but I sold it for $400.
The car was never in my name since I didnt have a drivers license at 17 yet.
At 18 years old I bought a 81 z28 in flat black
tranny went out and I completely stripped the front end, built a motor for it and powder coated the frame and sold the shell. then the motor sold
but its ok cause i found a 79 Z28 t-top and the first mod was flat black
also managed to get a 96 Z28 along the way. I hate computers! lol

My dad gave me his '97 C1500 my first day in high school. It was about 24mi round trip for school. Sold it for $6k in '03 and bought a '95 Formula for $5k. Sold the formula in '04 for $5k and then I bought my 30th ta for $13k.

1971 Chevelle, had some minor modifications to the motor and trans, and to really get it moving I installed a 12 bolt posi with 4.56 gears, definitely not very friendly driving around when you were spinning 3k at around 40 mph but damn that was fun.

1973 Hemi orange Dodge Charger SE w/ a fully built 383 magnum and 727 tourqeflite. Only thing that was stock was the fuel system minus the eddy carb(currently going to electric fuel pump and bugger lines) and heads. All sittin on some tt2s

1969 mustang coupe, me and my dad bought it when I was 15 for 800$, we rebuilt it together. It was a lot of work and I hated doing it back then, but looking back at it now, I wouldn't trade it for nothing. I hope my son and I have the same oportunity...sold it when my first baby came to pay for bills, I wish I kept it... now I have a little tear on my cheek..

my first car i bought myself when i was 11 yrs old. i raised the money mowing pastures on a 1948 8n ford tractor and brush hog. it was AND STILL IS (im 26) a 1965 CHEVY CORVAIR 180 turbo 2d monza. i restored it 100% by the time i was 16 and ready to drive. every penny went into that car, lol! i even built my own aftermarket turbo system on it. that car wieghed only 2572 with me in it and put 378hp/533tq down. fast car but not near enough gear! lol
