1965 c-10 stepside with a 355c.i. dart headed small block, ran 12.60's, not too shabby for a 16 year old!!

never said it was the original motor. was also missing all computer controls. it was a sport coupe, not an iroc, or even a z28. that means manual windows(it was also missing the heater and a/c, still daily drove it) and what not. with an edelbrock carb, it only got 10-12 mpg(heavy foot). i'm well aware of what it was.

Haha. My parents didnt help me with ****. I had to wait till i was 18 just to get a job. It took me 5 months of work to afford that car. So i didnt care if i looked like a dork. lol

Right I wasn't trying to knock it, I know that when I had my 84, everyone thought it was a 350, not the 305, and I saw more then one person in school that had 82, 83, 84, 85 Camaro's that all claimed to have 350's but all had factory motors, all claimed they came with 350s.... Heck my Berlineta had the 305 but had 350 valve covers that said 350 on them LOL... My 75 Nova got about 10 mpg......so I know how bad that sucks.

my first car that my dad gave me was a mercury montigo 4 door with the 460 police interseptor in it. i sold it before i could drive it without askin if i could. he wasnt happy at all. i then bought a 86 gt and a 82 f100. glad i figured out about the bowtie power.
