I contemplated this very move for a very long time. Eventually I wound up saving the money to get LT's with catted y because I knew I would eventually want those over mid's.
Car's going in Monday morning for the LT's, catted y and a tune at G-Force.
I say have patience, save your money, get it done right the first time.

I bet the installation at G-Force and the tune is a pretty penny.

The cost is what's to be expected. I just put away money until I had enough to spend (and this was on top of buying a house, paying for a garage floor coating, installing new cabinets in the garage, putting up 2 new expensive maple trees, and buying furniture for the extra rooms!).
Patience is the key.
