price is probably of least importance. she likes sushi, steakhouses, mexican food... oh and she loves the melting pot but we have already been there a million times lol. we live in spring but dont mind driving downtown or wherever for a good meal. we like to try new places as well.

Been to Fogo de Chao? Jaspers in the Woodlands in the Market Steet area is also nice. Just some ideas, like somebody already pointed out there are many choices.

A couple of my favorites:

My wife and I ate here before a concert in the Woodlands. They have really good dry aged steaks and bugers, if you like dry aged. It's a little closer to you as well.

The best part of Fogo is that you never leave hungry.

I could have sworn someone told me they opened up one in the Woodlands, any verification? (Fogo de Chaos). Also off of Research Boulevard, duck under the underpass till you get to I believe it's "6 pines", there is also a Brazilian Steakhouse where they bring the meats to you table and you tell them if you want the 8 meats they bring out o not. Northside of Research Forest. It was around $150 for 3 adults, 1 child, 2 alcohol drinks tax, title license and tip. .

houston downtown aquarium is pretty cool. You dine next to a huge aquarium. Definately unique.
