Default Painting License Plate Cover Cost?

i just got a license plate cover off of ebay for $21 shipped, but its white. How much do you guys think a local shop would charge? i would do it myself with my buddys equipment, but i dont know if buying the paint and other materials will be worth just painting that one piece.

Granted my car is silver, but I rattle canned mine with some touch up paint. You couldn't even tell it was spray paint.
There's a guy on here that does paint work. I'm sure he'll give you a good deal.

Either free or really cheap. Just have them throw it in when they paint a red car. Buy the painter and sander some slushies from Sonic, worked for me.

Seriously though, like $30 or so. Just depends on if they have to go out of their way to paint it.

Your color may not be so hard to match, back when I bought a plate cover off ebay I had to repaint it...well I found some GM SOM (matched paint codes) on ebay from a seller that sells car paints..etc...well it was far from SOM so if you think about buying some off ebay use caution...your probably better off getting someone to do it. I want to get mine done again but in the same boat as you as far as prices go and if someone can actually get a good SOM match.

^How mine turned out with SOM rattle can paint....

Here's rattle can Bright Silver Metallic touch up paint from Autozone.

I've since had front bumper repainted so now it looks 10x better, but before, it was hardly noticeable that it was rattle can. All about the prep work!
