You started that build to beat the last 2% that was running 2 years ago. Well since then everyone has gone a lot faster then that last 2%. Now you are going to need even more to hang with the big fish in the big pond. I'm happy fishing for Large Mouth Bass I don't need to go hunt for any Great White Sharks anytime soon.

It's all in fun JP. Just tapping the wounds.

Man, that was fun back in the day and those days I am sure will repeat they way we are going.

Looking forward to your final product, I just hope you don't bail out on it. Gets expensive quick.

Never asked you Dan, did it get a true reading on higher boost level, any tire spin on the dyno? If I recall you were on regular street tires on the dyno.

lol. true dat. only setback on my build is its 5 bolt heads... if the 6 bolt heads style block was available, i would have gone that route....

i dont mind going after Great Whites with my little worm for bait....(damn that sounds bad. )

Yeah I was on street tires and we had a lot of spin issues at first but we fixed that but having 3 people sitting on the back trunk area. Yeah it was getting true readings and very consistent. Everytime we made a pull the numbers were with in a couple from the time before.

I think I'll keep mine around the 700rwhp mark and just take weight out. That way I don't push the motor too hard and it will still haul the mail.. I'm going to try to get it back down to 3k lbs... Shouldn't be too hard to do. I had it at 3050 back in the day.

yeah that's my problem too. like me, my car has gained weight over the past 3 years. lol

extra 80 lbs iron block, extra 20-30 for the front half of the cage, extra 65lbs from the turbo alone.....

now add IC, hotside, cold side....

i did drop a few lbs going w/ tubular lower A-arms.... not much else i can take out unless i bust out the plasma.....

LMFAO Not even close.... My car only has 17deg of timing in it and I've only put 104 octain in it. It made over 750 not even pushing it. The peak hp was at 5k then it flattens off. At 4k it was at 5xx I don't reallly remember. I haven't put any C16 in it yet. That **** cost way too much and I don't plan on turning the boost up that high.
