just wanted to say hello. I have been on thirdgen.org for many years.
recently had a magnacharged ls1 installed in my 89 formula. been lurking on the boards for a while just never posted.
pretty sure I met some ls1tech guys at the HPD toys for tots cruise this past Sunday...
anybody from our area going to the JAN. coffee and cars?

I have had the car since it was new in 1989. 16 year old bday present..
this is the 3rd engine combo in the car and by far the best.
first it was a bolt on car in the late 80's early 90's, then I did a 383 tpi nitrous motor, ran a best of 12.20 in 93. not bad back then before there where lt and ls cars. car sat for about 8 years in storage. wanted to get another nice car and decided to dump the money into my first car instead of buying something brand new. I don't have the time or skill set anymore to work on this myself soooooo I Sent the car to Hawks in south carolina about a year ago. they did the ls and 6speed swap, suspension, paint, sound system, brakes, rear end, rims and interior.
I have only had it back for a month now.
rebuilt ls1, cam, long tubes, tvs 1900, t56, moser 9", six piston bear brakes,
18 boze rims, had the car retuned @ gforce 507 rwhp, 490 tq, car should weigh around 3300 pounds.
the weather has not been good enough to go down to home depot in pearland yet.
I have seen pictures about cars and coffee, I plan on going in JAN. (its the first saturday of every month) if anybody wants to go let me know?
