Got a public intoxication last night, best way to go about getting it dismissed?

So what exactly happen? were you just drunk in public and talkin to a cop or was there a fight? Did I miss it?
I got a PI for fighting out in front sherlocks once and it sucked. I had just a couple of beers and coming out of the pisser when a bouncer was kicking a few friends out for what I still dont know. Next thing you know I walk down stairs and get pushed from behind at almost the bottom and catch myself. We brawled outside for a good ten minutes. Cops rolled up took most everyone to jail except the guys who worked there. There friends that were involved went to jail also, atleast one that still was running his mouth in the holding tank. They removed me from the tank and sent me up a few floors was by my self for bout 3 hrs. Officer walks in calls my name, I was in there maybe 4hrs total. Dont ever want to go back even though it was nothing. Oh yeah this was christmas morning.

**** ive spent 1 yr in the texas state hotel when i was a kid in beaumont and a few over nighters for dumb crap before the army. most of the time food sux its cold and ppl are all idiots. i always sit out tickets to why pay when i can just hang out a few hrs and leave.

I'm your pi man, why the hell did you even get a ticket if you went to jail? Usually they just put you in detox and let you sleep it off and go home. **** 150$ in lawyers fees, I would of let it go to a warrant then spent my day in jail and got off free except for about 8 hrs of my time. The trick is to turn yourself at 11:30 pm and get credit for that 30 mins then the new day rolls over and now you have two days credit in 8 hrs when you see the judge. Done!

Patrick you did the right thing. If you can get something dismissed get it off your record. That **** will come back to haunt you if you don't. I speak from expierence.
