Default recovering camaro leather seats

I just bought a clean car the only thing thats not so clean about it is the driver and passenger seats have some wear and small tears in them. I haven't had much luck finding any desent used tan leather seats so Im thinking about haveing these recovered but I want them to look as much like stock as possible. Has any one had any redone in the Houston area? If so how did they turn out and who did them for you?

Dave, red LT1 TA, posts on here had his done. His set up is really nice, really depends on your budget. Most decent interior shops can get it done for you, I have used Stiches on Highway 6, Alief Auto Upholstry and some place right off Brittmoore for various other things.

Darril, you can use Louetta auto upholstery too. They did the headliner in one of my 3rd gens and did a really good job on it. I've seen some very good custom work come out of there.

I had them done at a place off of Tidwell and Aldine Westfield called "All day upholstery" and they did a DAMN good job. I'll post up some pics when I get back in Houston tomorrow if you like. PM me if you are interested in their contact information and what price I paid.

I was going to order replacement covers from these folks: http://www.precisionfit.com/index.aspx

I have never used them but I got their info from a truck site I use to frequent. I had them send me some samples of material and the vynil (Leatherette) was almost impossible to distinguish from the leather and it was only $199 for a set (front or back). If you try them let me know how they turn out!

Louetta upholstery just did the seats for my 25th anniv. I was going to do them myself but they stretched it so there were no wrinkles and added padding to make them feel like new.

Awesome job and only took 2 days but i ordered the covers and took them to them. after talking to them i did not save much by buying the covers.

Does anyone know if an upholstery shop can cut a hole or two in near the head rest area? That way if you have a 5pt harness it can slide through?
