Unhappy R.I.Pieces LS1 SUV

Hey guys, just wanted to let yall know that I am ok. On my way home from the McKinney Sonic car show, a Camaro that was also at the meet lost control when something broke in his car and collided with my Envoy. We were both cruising home down i-75 by bethany rd. I was going about 65-70mph in the right lane and he was going about the same on the center lane just a few feet in front of me. I tried to brake and steer right but his car 'swung' towards my lane. He clipped me on front driver side and together we went down to the right enbankment. I remember going down nose first into the concrete ditch and made the truck roll over several times (about 5) in the air and on the service road. The Camaro just slid all the way next to me and ended up next to me in the row fence/trees both facing the opposite side of freeway, about 300 ft away from where he lost it. My truck landed on all 4. He missed a light pole by 2 feet. Luckily he didnt get hurt at all. i just got released from the hospital with a swollen elbow. All the airbags deployed but the seat belt saved my life. I also ride with the seat laid back so i kept my hands under the steering wheel and pushed up to stay stuck on the seat.
Im just glad we are both ok and no one else was involved.

Wow, not what I expected to read. Glad everyone came out alive and with no major injuries. Wish I could say the same about the envoy. Sorry to hear about that but the silver lining is you get to go to sleep tonight and wake up later to see friends/family again.

Dang man, glad you are ok. So this guy was just cruising, not messing around at all. I guess you can't really blame him if thats the case.

I hope everything turns out well, but the main thing is that everyone is alive.

I had the "RIP LS1 TRK" license plate frame, but that was because I parted it out in pieces and sold as a roller. Now my Envoy gets the true "RIPieces"
