Have any of y'all installed one of these short sticks and gain a ton of transmission noise?? Maybe I'm installing it wrong.. Let me know!!

 

I've had one for like 2 years now with no noise. Do you have a poly trans mount? That's where my transmission noise was coming from.

 

Yeah, I do have a poly transmount... My stock stick makes no noise at all... I guess that bushing on the bottom of the stick takes it all... Any sugestions?

 

Louder exhaust or louder stereo ????

I put rubberized coating on the bottom of the short stick back before I got my 5.0.
You could also put a thin strip of rubber/gasket between the mating surfaces.

I doubt these will get rid of all the noise, but they should lessen it.

 

yes you will get noise from installing the short stick. its normal. there is no way in hell your installing it wrong. its the most simple installation!

 

it's a camaro not a bently, most aftermarket parts are going to be louder/stiffer... i dont know how you hear anything, i cant hear **** in my car...
