for your power level the nitto drag radials will prob be the best bang for the buck for you... they last the longest out of the drag radial class and stick pretty decent. but keep in mind if you do a stall and drag radials keep some money aside for a new rear end, if you dont know about them do a search on here and you will learn real fast what happens to them.

yea I don't kno wat what happened on that last run! I think it was that I was tryin to give it more gas of the light tree. Guess that's wend the stall comes in handy. So yea I spun out to bad and ran a 17.3 that was on my last run I was trying to go for a farster run but I almost killed my self! Lol but yea if that was what I was running all night yea might aswell drive it of a cliff! Lol

skip the nittos. buy a extra pair of 17's and just throw some mickey t's on them
a good stall is gonna go from 500 to 800 new. check out circle d, they have excellant converters and stand by there work. for the stall id highly suggest a trans cooler as well as a good tune

that's what I thought about doing buying and extra pair of ZR1's I thought about getting the 17x11 (right now I have 17x9.5 all around with 275/40R17 falken) I've heard of them mickey's they high! I might just end up going with the nitto's...... How exactly does the stall work? How would it drive in the street?

my friend had the same car I do and he ran a 13.3 at 101 MPH to.i notice something whend I raced to. My 1st and second gear changed good (i can't remember exactly at what RPM's) a little bit below my 6 but on the last change I felt like it shift a little to high I think above 6 on the 1st run I had 2 let of the gas abit cause I thought it wasent going to shift (and still ran a 13.7) I think it might need a good tune. So if I where to buy a 3600 stall it will only kick into gear at 3600 rpm's?

Your elevation above sea level. Stock mustangs are trapping 103-104. They also weigh less. Something is wrong when yor car traps 101 when you have 80 rwhp over one. LS1s are a beast. Your car should be trapping higher. Unless your elevation is extremely high. Then it would make sense.

In 1998, my 1998 Z-28 M6 ran low 13s, and with a cutout high 12s with around 2.0-1.9 60ft times. There were guys with autos that ran mid to low 12s with just a converter and very minor mods. So your car is slow, or you need to work on the driver . I think your mph is kinda low.

Go to the automatic transmission forum and look at the top there are "stickies" every forum section has stickies that answer alot of frequent asked questions.
A higher stall will not cause it to "only kick in" at whatever RPM, it will act just like your stall does now, it will take off easy when you touch the gas, it will take off hard when you punch it, but it will do everything at a higher RPM, so if you punch it it will take off at higher RPM, when it shifts gears it goes into the next gear at a little higher RPM, its called shift extension, it help it pull through the next gear a little more. If you barely touch the gas like you do normally when taking off from a red light you will barely even notice it is there, and when your cruising you will notice it a little, But when you hit the gas you will really notice that you are now hauling a lot more *** than you were before. Stalls are all good as long as you buy a quallity one and not too big. Call customer service at Yank or Circle D or Vigilante cant remember the other guys name that is real reputable on here just talk to them they will help you pick the right stall for your goals
AND GET TIRES!!

Come on lemons... give him some break.. He only has 3 posts. I know it gets tiring but at least give him a link to go in the rights direction. Then tell him to search.
