Default Need a good auto transmission shop!!

Like the Title says I'm looking for good trans shop that could build my 4l60e. Prefer in the dfw area. It's off the car if that makes it easier.

A stage II from them is about $2000! I can get one built for a lot less that could hold some power.

go to Circle D in houston or century transmissions. I actually drove to dfw to Ace transmission. Ive had their stage 2 tranny for over 2 years and tranny is working flawlessly, hell i took my car on a 1100 road trip 2 days after getting my tranny installed by them and still going great.

Circle D Transmissions is in Houston, but they are the best 4L60E builders in the business. They ship trannys all over the U.S., but it would be well worth the road trip IMO. We beat on our Circle D 4L60E they built for us for 3 seasons and never could tear it up. We ran our first 9 second passes with it and sold it to a guy running a turbo set up here and he's still beating on it.

Do it right the first time man!

FWIW- We went through 2 budget 4L60E builds in less than a year before we found Circle D. We never looked back.

I just sold him some new T56 parts a few weeks ago. As far as I know, he is still in business.
