They are comparing Chevrolet's fastest Camaro available and Ford's fastest Mustang available.
A ZR1 should be compared with other 2-seater cars like the Viper. I bet the LSX guys don't say **** about the ZR1 having a blower when it's compared to a 2009 Viper ACR or when a 2010 CTS-V is put up against a BMW M5.
For the record, I'd own pretty much any car mentioned in this thread.
GT500, 2011 Mustang GT 5.0, 2010 Camaro SS, ZR1, Viper.

Well thats just how it goes. If it was a blown camaro vs a all motor mustang all the ford guys would be talking smack and your right we wouldnt say a thing. But since its a lsx forum were going to do just what were doing... Pick on the mustang

On the same line of thinking that Ross was going after.......the BMW M guys don't really bitch about the '09+ CTS-V when they are running smaller cubes and N/A in the 5.0 V10 M5/6 and 4.0 V8 M3. I think it's hilarious compared to the Chebby boys doing so much complaining about the '03 Cobra from '03-09.

There is already a video of the 5.0 mustang against a 2010 camaro SS and it rapes that *** bad!!!! Extremely bad , its on my forum ill try to post it ...

In the past they normally compared the C6 Z06 to the GT500.
The new SS vs the GT500 is about 15k difference so for the extra 15k, what can we do to the SS to makeup the horsepower? Hmmmmm let's see.

It was meant to be a boulevard cruiser with some ***** to it, and they both filled the role perfectly. It had the comfort and space that the Corvette didn't, but it would also stomp a mudhole in an unsuspecting adversary.
