Why was the video a big deal anyway? It's not like they made it yesterday, or like someone can't get into a new Mustang GT and run fairly well(certainly on par with a new Camaro SS) without modifying either vehicle. As for an early complaint that the Mustang had to have a S/C to win... I think we all know what the deal is now.
The test was brought on out of sheer fun for someone. The outcome was determined before the cars were brought together.

That was a Shelby GT 500 KR.
My Shelby GT 500 was 45k new.
It really is apples to oranges but this battle of words has been going on FOREVER. The Shelby is stuck in the middle. Please bring back the Z28 so we can have a fair comparison.
As for me I like running corvetts all flavors win lose or draw
