That meet used to be good but the ricers found it and have turned it into their usual idiocy. The core group of domestic cars and serious imports have moved elsewhere.
This is a common pattern in Austin (and probably in other cities): the fast cars, (domestics and RWD/AWD tastefully modded imports) start a meet. The meet is good for a while. Someone spills the beans, or the ricers drive by and notice it. Ricers invade. Idiotic behavior starts. Original founders of that meet spot leave and start over again.
This cycle has already happened with the meet you posted.

Go to the early meet. 7-10 PM at FM 1431 and toll road 183A. Behind Carl's Jr and Chick Fil-A.
If you meet the right people and are cool, you may be told where to go for a late meet.

At someone who grew up in Williamson county you wouldn't catch me dead doing runs up / hanging out up there 
There's a south meet at 71/290 for older peeps and bigger one at cabelas but it's heavily policed.

We'll I will be moving back to Huntsville tomorrow so now I need to learn where the meets are in the Conroe/Woodlands area (if any) lol. Ill probably be coming back on the weekends pretty often and when I do I will deff have to check the 1431 and 183a meet out. Thanks guys.
