my car put down 414rwhp 389rwtq with Stock heads, intake,tb,block, thru a stock tranny and stock rear full weight(stock wheels, spare and jack) also! now it is a 2002 WS6 with RPM5 cam,FLP long tube headers, hutto true duals,TSP lid(if that even counts) and the main thing its Sam tuned but other then that its factory stock!!! it also ran 11.78@116 last year in july in the Texas heat! and from what i was told that dyno reads lower then most so............. you draw your on conclusions

It's a 2002 WS6, it COMES WITH AN LS6 INTAKE LOL. So yes, with an LS6 intake, bolt-ons, and a nice cam, 414 is very normal LOL. You ran 11.78@ 116, that's normal for those mods too. I ran 12.0@116 in a full weight m6 CONVERTIBLE. As you can see our trap speeds were the same, so yes, you're right on par. 414rwhp does not equal 450rwhp lol.

edit: I googles "450whp cam only ls1" and got a hit about a corvette that did it...That's insane if it's true.

Hmm those numbers look good with some PRC stage 2 5.3 heads that might be some good numbers, with rest of my mods. That is a good possibility cam for me.

That car had to have 5.3 heads on it. Lemme go check their website out.

Lol, ls6 intake= stock for 01s and 02s. Go to thunder racing and they have the dyno sheet for the 453whp car. Were not saying that all cam only cars are 450. With a kill tune it's more than possible.

I just read up on thunder racing's website...jesus that cam makes serious power! LOL. I want one.

How the **** does a cam only car make 450+??? Do you have to notch pistons? That's insane. like...If I made 414 cam only, and 454 with heads...if i swapped to that cam would I make like 475+???

dum dum The dyno above is of a 99 TransAm withdumstock unported cylinder heads, Thunder Racing's T-ReX v.2 camshaft, and a full package of bolt-on parts, including long tube headers, pulley, LS6 intake manifold, Whisper lid, ported throttle body.dum Dyno runs were on 93 octane gasoline and a factory steel flyweel.

autos should stick to digs. I should stick to rolls.

That Trex is a mammoth for a little 346. OP Not sure if a 7.8 is an 11 with a T/A auto.. 7.9 for my c6 was right on the edge.

England Green has quite a few ls1 cam only cars in the 425-440range in Houston with the stock heads/intake. My ls6 car made 435rwhp with a slightly smaller cam and stock heads/intake. Hoping for 7.20's in good air at 435rwhp in full street trim.

LS6 heads? Fast intake mani? No way on stock LS1 heads, stock LS1 intake, and a stalled auto you'll put down that much with just a cam...

maybe i should have just quoted this part? sure the 01-02' have the LS6 intake but neither have the LS6 heads or fast intake to make over 400rwhp does that help clarify and doesn't a ported fast intake make like 16-17 more rwhp then a LS6 intake on average?

7.8 might be a 12.0 but I ran it with the rev limiter hitting twice on the 1-2 shift, with that fixed I could pick up .2 in the 1/8th. So with that right I'd figure 7.6@91 maybe with a high 11 in the 1/4. In better weather I could be mid 11s I believe?
