I'm not an expert, but I went went through about tons of dynos at England Green with Stephen(tuner/owner) and we overlapped a lot of them to see the differences(all stock 241 or 243 cars). It was just not that big. I'm hoping to end up getting 480rwhp out of my stock block with 100k. Here is in interesting thread on ported ls6 vs. AFR heads.

What is the gain on a stock ls1/ls6 block from the Trick Flows compared to the afr heads?

Dont worry man, you are not alone. I too have a hard time reading badges at 120mph...lol. and especially when the other car is behind me....

OK so there is a few exceptions. It's got to be interesting for the supra highway guys that get walked by a auto GTO.

Depending on the weather and my froggyness I may head back the weekend after Father's Day.

The cool thing about autos is that you can program when you want them to shift, what you want the torque converter to do and you can set the torque converter up for your powerband. You can program when you want them to downshift, etc. And there are no misshifts to worry about. Given equal whp in an equal weight car, I'd pick the auto. Chances are it will win.

I haven't gotten to race any supras yet

what roll u run the ls3 vette cuz u beat me by only 2 cars from 45 that would be pretty cool if my old cobalt was hanging with stock ls3 vettes.

45 on two runs, and a 40 on the last one, but we were running to around 140.

oh ok well **** im still decently close too one with it. but hey u need rematch that 335i he got his new clutch and flywheel and old tune back on and he also got meth but not installed yet. on meth he will be around 420-430+whp trapping 90+ in the 1/8th easily. 335i runs really good him on only map 3 (13psi) pulled my gto 3-4 cars from a 60 sweet spot for auto GTO but i only got exhaust and intake so pretty much stock, he will be running u on map 7 which is 16 psi he was beating my cobalt about 1-2 cars on a slipping clutch so could prob get the old balt by 3-4 cars now.
