BLSolutions are a sponsor:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...p-3-prize.html

...if I still had my Bird and wanted a "real" set-up I'd go with them. FakeID's are junk and blind everybody on the road, besides being illegal.

BLSolutions kit looks like crap? What for the 2min when you have them popped up to clean them? Do you guys drive around with them popped up and no lights on?

Jesus Christ, I would rather tape maglights to the side of my c5z and run my FakeIDs to them.

Sorry that's just my thoughts on it. If you like them Mr. Engineer that's cool with me.

i used to have 4500k ddms. stopped working about a month after i got them so im currently running on philips night guides, which suck ***. for the first week or so, people flashed their highs at me at least 5 times a night. never had a ticket though. hell, i even passed a cop in the opposite lane and nothing happened. anyways i just adjusted them a little lower and havent had a problem since(except that they dont work anymore ). need to send them back and get a new set. very worth it while they worked!

I don't have an issue with the quality of the product or the quality of the light produced. I just can't get over the round peg in the square hole look. I know, I know, you can't see them when they are retracted, but following that logic, I'd wear poo stained underwear everyday just because no one else would see them.

Just because you can't see see the poo doesn't mean the poo isn't still there.

Thanks..

I don't like them either, I have a set of DDM Tuning HID's 8k for my Camaro waiting to get installed. I'd hate to think what a set of those projecter would look like in my ride

riiiiiight... only the projector setup offers a significant advantage while poo in your underwear has no advantage and makes your comparison loook ridiculous.

Yeah, I made 3 other accounts to prove a point that is completely obvious. What an engineer. I would be weary of driving or standing near something you "engineered".

Nobody likes what you posted, so quit crying. I'm not the only one. I don't even know why you're continuing to post here, you're making yourself look like Mrs. Engineer.

And yeah... if you think my HIDs are ricer... then IDK WTF you must be smoking sir, because the link you posted is the epitome of ricerness.

I'd much rather have mine:

This looks sexy. And whether the light is being emitted from a projector or not

I don't have a trans am but I have owned them. Personally I think they look like crap. Just by me knowing they were on my car I'd hate myself for having them. They are hideous and look ricer . Westtexasbuff, I love the way the lights look on your car, I have an 01 Z28 and I have some hid's waiting to go on once the car is up and running again. For mr.engineer, you can add me to the "They look like crap list", no way in hell I'd put my car through that kind of embarrassment.

Hey I have taken that class too for my engineering degree, so I know all about the basic optic and light concepts too. But my HID set-up will be a low buck cheap *** set-up that works and looks good, will be aimed down fairly well though. Could be because i'm a poor *** college student too though...
