jesus christ, do you guys like arguing just to see/hear yourselves argue?
neither one of you are right, and you're both right....looks are subjective. trying to argue the point with each other is like arguing which is heavier, a ton of feathers or a ton of bricks.
give it a rest already.....

no pissing contest here just providing facts. but all of the budget/cheap hids in my opinion are garbage. see all the guys in south houston run them on their trucks and a few on fbodies. incorrect beam path and just everything about them sucks. heres the crap incorrect beam
And here is how a correct QUALITY hid kit looks

^ Thank You! a picture says a thousand words. I definitely dont like the round peg in square hole look of the blackbird solutions HID kit, but who cares, there still bad *** considering its the only real (proper projector lens) HID kit available today for a 4th gen firebird. I'd love to have some if i could afford some the above pics show why.

i thought the reason why people were blinded was because the headlights do not adjust?
On original cars from factory Xenon lights, they all are automatically height asdjustable, so whenever going up a hill or whatever, the lights always point down, never blinding anyone regardless of strenght.

Not all cars equipped with HIDs from the factory have automatically adjusting headlights. Actually, a small percentage do. What many do have is a projector housing. Th projector points the light in a very defined pattern with a sharp upper cutoff. This is ideal for an HID setup because the extreme light output is focused forward and down, rather than all directions like a reflector. Aiming the reflector down helps reduce the amount of light that would normally shoot up, though, you sacrifice how far the light emits when doing this.
Cars equipped with HIDs from the factory that do not have projectors have reflectors with a shield in them. The shield blocks the light that would normally shoot up. If retaining a reflector housing, these would be the ones to go with, especially with HIDs installed. They give a nice cutoff, not as sharp as a projector, but still nice.
I have HIDs in both my lows and fogs. I started with HIDs in the regular reflector, but was unhappy with the light out, since it spilled out everywhere, rather than being focused. I've owned cars/motorcycles with HIDs behind a projector or shielded reflector, so I knew what I was missing. I have since moved to the type of reflector that I mentioned with a shield in them. This allows me to keep the housings pointed straight and take advantage of the additional light from HIDs. I also modified the fogs so that they are in a glass housing rather than plastic.
