Fix up that cutlass and sell it lol. Could make some decent money off that. You're doing pretty good with cutlass and bird at 17. My friend is 19 and has to borrow money from his mom to go to the movies.

Here is another pic of the wheels, gonna take 4 to 6 weeks to come in.

Rushforth, pretty pricey too at $2500. Then I still have to get tires. Hope this is all worth it when I go to sell it. Thinking a high side of $20k if I am really lucky. I will probably end up keeping the wheels when it sells.

What's wrong with your T/A? Hopefully I can start driving mine again tomorrow.

Well, you are finally getting your wish. The whole car is being stripped down and a good bit was done today. The car is surprisingly clean underneath the 3 layers of paint. Only bondo was on the fender where it meets the door on the left side and the sail panel. Figured there would be a lot more underneath. He already started laying down bondo and smoothing it out, he said he will be done tomorrow or the day after. Not bad for $500 for him to strip and smooth the whole car haha..

Also the T/A is done, just waiting for the headlight cover to come in. And now my friggen passenger headlight motor stopped working, I think I unplugged it on accident.

its pretty much been stripped to a rolling shell nothing in or on it. found some rust by the rear window, nothing major however just a lot of small dings to fix and waiting on trunk pan and tail panel to arrive so i can wrap this up and get it shot in 2 stage ppg black. think ill have 4 extra coats of clear laid down just so i can have something to work with when i get to wetsanding and buffing. i want it to look a few miles deep.

hey penguin, if those rushforths don't work out for you i will trade you my TT's with the tires off of my '68 for those rims. just puttin it out there.

body doesn't look bad. still haven't seen the trunk pan or the floor boards.

also i doubt you will get 20k for it. but i mean you can ask for that much OBO and see who bites.

What was wrong with the tail panel? Rust at the bottom?

There was one pinhole around the back window, really surprised there wasn't more. Found some rust on the right side where the door meets the quarter. The car looks like hell right now in the pics but it will most likely be done tomorrow if my friend doesn't get tied down with other cars. And don't let all the bondo fool you guys, it's very thin and done right.

They painted a blue car that looked sweet today, but I think with the big wheels and such it will look too "ghetto". There will be three black cars at the car show with me, ex-ss-ve and that other guy but whatever.. Mine will be the one with the bad *** wheels lol.
