RCC Twin Turbo Build Update!!

How long do you think the water in the tank will stay cold before you will have to drain it and put fresh cold water/Ice back in it? Front what I have seen those Air to Water intercoolers are great but for short distances because the water in the tank heats up.

I have seen a 5gal tank in a AMG produce 44deg IAT in 98degree weather and after 3 back to back pulls on a mustang dyno the IAT only got to 88degrees - water temp was 60degrees.
RC tank is plenty big for the mile

This ice tank is huge compared to the one I run in our drag cars. We also have a front mount heat exchanger that is going to help keep the IATs down while driving. The IAT's will start at around 40* and end near 100* during the full mile run. On the street with NO ice it will be at ambient temp or lower.

still though, you cant be mad about the weight entirely over the back tires, and dead even side to side

As Josh said, the car will be street driven on pure water. The heat exchanger is big to help dissapate heat. We will use ice in the box when the car is put on kill for special events like the mile or the extra special runs in Mexico that I hope will happen.

I don't think I saw this posted anywhere else in the thread, but I know LMR likes to name the different types of packages they offer such as punisher, reaper, etc. You have to come up with a bad *** name for this ultimate kick-*** package as well. I suggest something along the lines of the doomsday package because once you hear this bitch coming you're going to think the world is ending.

Nope we are going to try and push the envelope to a whole different level and try the stock computer. If that doesnt work I have a different efi system in mind. We shall see in the coming weeks.
