Default PI LXR 235cc Cathedrals....

Well, Finally got to flow some heads this morning.. They are Performance Induction 235 11* Cathedral port.. Keep in mind our bench is one of the most conservative bench's in Houston, these numbers are NOT pumped.. I will have the number's on the LS7 275cc PI heads prolly by tuesday

Intake- Exhaust-

.100 ---> 68 .100 ---> 51
.200 ---> 132 .200 ---> 140
.300 ---> 209 .300 ---> 149
.400 ---> 269 .400 ---> 196
.500 ---> 313 .500 ---> 217
.600 ---> 339 .600 ---> 229
.700 ---> 327 .700 ---> 237
.800 ---> 327 .800 ---> 241

Definately not too shabby, We are still gonna put a lil more work into them and get it up in the 350-360's

I would think they would move a bit more at .300. What bore size it flowed on and what size valves?

A. You're comparing a big *** 260+cc, 2.165' valve rectangle port head to a 235cc, 2.08" (I'n guessing) valve cathedral port head. That's an apples to elephants comparison.

B. It's only flowbench numbers.

Very true. The AFR heads have never put up overwhelming flow bench numbers and made great power. The L92 heads dont ever make the power they should for what they flow. You have to consider the dynamic of how the air flows as much as the volume it flows.

Yeah, I know... It was a bit of an Inside joke between me and the OP, the heads are awesome I crawled around in them yesterday... If I didnt already have a set of AFR 225's Id buy these in a instant.

Our bench is VERY conservative, to be honest i was pleased with what it did out of the box, not even cleaning them up and putting some final touches on them.. Prolly have them around 355ish after a few touches, definately killer for a baby 235 cathedral. Flow bench bore was 4.065 and valve is a 2.080..
