Unfortunately I did not have this guy's user name. I bought this car over the long weekend. Advertised to have 80,000 miles. Gave him 3000$ for it. Got it home and was looking it over the next day and found an oil change sticker showing next oil change due @211,000 miles. Then I got the title out that I remembered to ask for at the last minute and it shows 207,758. So far he has refused to take the car back and will not refund a portion of my money. This guy is a CROOK!

What's sad is that this is not the first time this has happened yet the mods continue to let him post.

Any time you buy anything used it is up to you to inspect it when you buy it.....That being said I am sure the oil change sticker was there when you picked it up & the milage statement on the title didn't magically change after you got home. Just Sayin'
I personally answer all questions asked honestly, I try to remember any problems when selling something. Some people are shady though, So it is up to the buyer to Inspect what they are buying. JMHO

From the post the buyer made it sounds like something he found on craigslist and then he discovered it for sale on here also.

Maybe he meant 80K on the motor/trans??? Did the dash not display the mileage when you got in the car? He did advertise it as having 80K miles (and probably lied, but I am not going to say that as there is always two sides to the story), but you should have also confirmed it with him when exchanging the cash/title. Lesson learned I guess.

Yeah there is no way I would buy a car without looking at the dash and seeing the mileage.

It looks like there have been quite a few chances for him to deffend himself, or to go ahead and make things right. It appears he just avoids those chances and keeps rippin people off.
