Default 2001 Trans-Am 490rwhp/443rwtq

This is my new ride. 2001 Trans-Am WS6. I bought it a couple of weeks ago after I sold my C5 Z06.

Dyno video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTHlJy31CGM

The car made 489.9 rwhp and 443 rwtq with craptastic air quality of 90 degress and 70ish% humidity. I'm hoping for 500 rwhp n/a when it gets cold around here. Cutouts are open in that video. Here is what it has:

Engine:
Forged 347 w/ Callies rods, diamond pistons, stock LS1 crank.
Thunder Racing TReX v.2 cam (244/250 - .608/.612 - 109.5 lsa according to the card)
Patriot stg. 2.5 (243 based) heads at 11:1 comp ratio
.650" lift dual springs
Fast 92mm intake and Nick Williams 92mm TB
TSP 1 7/8" ceramic coated headers
twin QTP electric cutouts
High volume oil pump
Nitro Dave's 92mm plate kit (I'm not spraying it.........yet)
490/443 n/a, ???/??? on the gofastgas

Drivetrain:
Built T56
stock Hurst shifter w/ white ****
Spec 3 clutch (rebuilt here in Waco)
RAM master cylinder and hydraulics
custom steel driveshaft
Moser 12bolt w/ 4.10's and a detroit locker
Red painted stock calipers with drilled/slotted/zinc plated rotors
Line Lock setup

Suspension:
QA1 coilovers front and rear
Spohn torque arm
Spohn adjustable panhard rod
Spohn lower control arms
Spohn subframe connectors
Spohn rear solid 1 5/16" drag sway bar
solid polyurethane bushings throughout

Other bits:
Stock interior
Cold A/C (bonus!!!)
T-tops that don't leak (double bonus!!!)
C5 polished thin-spokes

All work and tuning done by Ultimate Motorsports in Waco, TX.

(^Older pictures, but the car hasn't changed in appearance yet. I'll get some more newer ones soon.)

All cars that I have owned have had names and this one is no different. I call this one Whiplash.

Sounds expensive, LOL. Good solid numbers for a 5.7.

Hah! I dont know yet. I haven't had it long enough with the good tune on it to find out. Today was the first time I drove it to work with it running well. lol. I'm hoping for 25 hwy and mid teens around town. I think that city number might just be a pipe dream though because I love hearing this thing wail!

I'd have to check with the engine builder but I am pretty sure it has ARP hardware in the bottom end.
